Nike at 90sqmThanks to Stefano for the flyer Another cool Nike exhibit at 90sqm with collab artists. All in the spirit of AirMax 90. When: Sunday 15th of October where: 90sqm time 16.00 -22.00
—words by Ido— When the Air Max 90 was re-issued in 2001 in it’s original color-way, white/cement grey-infrared-black, it immediately hit the sweet spot. The streets loved it. But what makes the Max 90 unique on the streets in Holland is the diversity of it’s wearers. Just like sports, the shoe lives among many different cultures and subcultures. It knows no color, no race and no religion. Through the lens of Yamandu Roos we have captured the diversity of the ‘infrareds’ aficionados. And his pictures were the starting point for a group of artists to create their own interpretation of the Max 90. Delta, a Dutch graffiti legend, used the name of the shoe and through his 3-D style gave his impression of the Max 90 The Air Max 90. From one millennium to the next. From running to culture. From shoe to art. From innovation to inspiration. |
