7 questions interview with Chuck Anderson (NoPattern)
Chuck Anderson (mr No Pattern) found the time to answer my 7questions.
For those who don’t yet know or heard about NoPattern, well shame on you. I dig his style. If I would describe it as I do right now I would say, his style is psychedelic, dreamy, choatic, slick, developing or just in three words I like it!

B|L|D|D ::: What’s your background story, could you give us an introduction?
NoPattern ::: I grew up as a very creative person - I’ve been an artist my whole life. The background story up until right about now is just that I always was an artist, always drawing, always creating…throughout school when I was young and up through high school I continued that and then decided against going to college. This basically forced me to find me own way into things that most people feel you need a degree for. I began putting my work out there on the internet, trying to get some attention wherever I could. Fortunately I got my work in the right hands at the right times, kept pushing, and almost 4 years later now I have a career doing my art. I love it and wouldn’t change what I do for anything.

NoPattern ::: Bluish greenish.
B|L|D|D ::: Favorite number?
NoPattern :::23. Birthday and Michael Jordan. I grew up in Chicago during the 90’s, I can’t help it.
B|L|D|D ::: Now a biggie “What is art”/”What is fashion” to/for you?
NoPattern :::I don’t like to define art in words. Art is something that is visually pleasing to someone. Not necessarily to everyone, but to someone…if somebody is attracted to anything about something that was created by man, I suppose that is art. I don’t know though, who really does know…? Honestly? Hard (but good) question.

NoPattern :::
B|L|D|D ::: What are your latest projects?
NoPattern :::Lately I’ve been working with the band Fall Out Boy for Island/Def Jam Records, I just finished working on a huge billboard that will be going up in Chicago for the Chicago Bears and Reebok, and I am working on the art/design for an ad campaign for Dollhouse Clothing. Then of course I’ve got my personal projects, but those are secrets until they come out.
