My 7 questions interview with Manu. Legendary french Graffiti artist, from his website
After a long emergence and an evolution in the graffiti industry for more than 10 years, MANU CUSTOM, graffiti artist who customises everything he sees, decides in 2003 to make cross his art on new supports, to spread his art and his need to create.
Sneaker Addict and mainly of the famous Air Force One, emblematic sneaker of the Hip Hop culture, it’s naturally he thought about to review the style of the shoe. Embellish it, diversify it and make it unique thanks to colours and themes, more in a personal and a symbolic way, for the lovers of the Air Force One readapt it for themselves as well.

B|L|D|D ::: What’s your background story, could you give us an introduction?
Manu Custom :::I started as a graffiti artist during the 90′s but it’s during the 2003 Year that i started to paint on sneakers, It’s by spalshing down some paint on my shoes that the idea to customize sneakers began.
B|L|D|D ::: Favorite color?
Manu Custom :::I have no preference it’s depend my humors and my desires
B|L|D|D ::: Favorite number?
Manu Custom :::Not really, but If I have to choose one I will say the 31
Cause my daughter is born the 31 december.

Manu Custom :::art permits to have another vision of life, permits to people to express themselves
